The faculty has a strong commitment to research and innovation. There are two research centers at the faculty, 1. the Center for Sustainable Agriculture and Environmental Studies (SAES) and 2. Center for Poultry Production. The SAES is engaged in a variety of research projects that focus on improving agricultural productivity and Environmental sustainability. The faculty also has a strong commitment to community service. The faculty’s outreach programs provide farmers and other agricultural stakeholders with access to information and resources that can help them improve their productivity and livelihoods, while The Center for Poultry Production intends to meet the country’s training and capacity development needs in poultry production and associated operations. Poultry production can support sustainable development goals of ending poverty, increasing and economic prosperity. Additionally, animals contribute to the diversity that farms need to be resilient and such nitrogen cycling. To create year-round sustainable production, beginning with egg production.
