Zamzam University of Science and Technology (ZUST) and Hormuud University (HU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a new chapter of institutional collaboration aimed at advancing higher education and contributing to Somalia’s development.
The partnership will strengthen cooperation in education, research and innovation, student development, knowledge exchange, and community engagement, creating opportunities for both institutions to combine their expertise and resources for greater academic and societal impact.
Areas of Cooperation
The agreement sets out a framework for joint work in five areas:

Strengthening academic programmes and exchanging good practice in teaching and learning.

Collaborating on research activity and supporting new ideas and practical solutions.

Widening the opportunities available to students as they learn, grow, and prepare for professional life.
