On October 18, 2023, Zamzam University of Science and Technology and Talya International For Investment CO. LTD. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the LEAPS Centre of Excellence. The signing ceremony took place in Mogadishu, Somalia, with the attendance of the University founder and deputy chairman, the Advisor of the Sudanese Embassy, and other guests from higher education in Somalia and scholars.
The MoU was signed by Eng. Mohamud Mohamed Harbi, Rector of Zamzam University, and Eng. Mohamed Khalil, CEO of Talya International For Investment CO. LTD.
