Zamzam University of Science and Technology went through different stages before its official opening in August, 2014. It was founded by Somali professionals who felt the need to open a quality university with specific goals for providing better education standards and sustained Agricultural growth to farming community.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture is awarded to the graduates who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum.Students must take and pass all courses at minimum 50 percentage including graduation thesis and graduation project that are explained by the academic Council of Zamzam University. In order to pass a course, the average of mid-term evaluation (30%) and final or make-up exam must be minimum 50% with 2 term assignments (20%).
