Introduction

Infrastructure defines how cities grow, how systems function, and how societies develop. The Faculty of Engineering at ZUST focuses on the design, construction, and management of these systems through structured training in civil engineering. Students develop the ability to plan, analyze, and deliver infrastructure projects across areas such as structures, transportation, water systems, and environmental engineering.

About The Faculty

The Faculty of Engineering is designed to train students as planners, designers, and engineers capable of working across different stages of construction and infrastructure development. It covers core areas of civil engineering, including structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation systems, environmental engineering, water resources, and construction management.

Students are trained to analyze, design, and manage engineering projects using scientific knowledge, mathematical tools, and modern engineering methods. The Faculty also emphasizes the role of engineering in supporting urban development, environmental sustainability, and resilient infrastructure systems.
